My Role
I architected and built their entire e-commerce ecosystem from scratch, replacing their Squarespace site with a complex but manageable system. My responsibilities included designing the product catalog structure, implementing the six-tool tech stack integration, coordinating with Foxy's development team on custom solutions, creating backorder workflows, and building everything on my end without code—pure no-code platform mastery and creative problem-solving.
Challenges Faced
Calculating shipping for oddly-shaped workbenches going worldwide nearly derailed everything with standard shipping calculators not handling their unique packaging dimensions. The backorder confirmation requirement meant custom workflows that Webflow couldn't handle natively, requiring Foxy's team to code custom solutions. Syncing data across six different platforms while maintaining inventory accuracy felt like juggling chainsaws, and building a full account backend pushed every no-code tool to its limits.
Process & Discovery
Initial analysis revealed customers loved the product but found the DIY site unprofessional for such premium pricing. I mapped their complex product relationships—bases, accessories, bundles—and designed a structure that could scale. Collaborating with Foxy's development team on shipping edge cases and leveraging Shippo's API through their custom implementation solved the logistics nightmare that had plagued Dashboard for years.

Design Overview
The design elevates their craftsmanship through rich wood textures and workshop-inspired typography that feels premium yet approachable. Product pages showcase the workbench's versatility through lifestyle photography while technical specs satisfy the detail-oriented woodworker. The Boulder, CO heritage subtly appears throughout, connecting their local roots to global customers who value American-made quality.

The results & business impact after site launch
The $200k monthly revenue increase speaks volumes, but the operational improvements tell the real story. International shipping errors dropped to near zero thanks to proper calculations, backorder management became automated instead of manual email chains, and the professional presentation finally matched their premium product quality. The 2k visitor increase and higher conversion rates proved customers just needed a website that matched the craftsmanship of the workbenches they were buying.
